ERTALYTE: PET-P (Polyethyleneterephthalate) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyester. Ertalyte offers good wet or dry application resistance, high strength and rigidity, excellent stain resistance and better resistance to acids compared to Nylon or Acetal (DELRIN®). Engineers must note not to use Ertalyte or any other Polyesters such as PBT in continuous hot water. Ertalyte TX is an internally lubricated thermoplastic polyester for bearing and wear applications. Please see the General Engineering Materials Page for technical specifications on all grades of readily available Ertalyte, or request your own personal copy of AIP's Material Specifications Brochure. AIP specializes
