Ryton PPS, Techtron PPS, Engineering Plastics

RYTON: PPS (Polyphenelyne Sulfide) offers the broadest resistance to chemicals of any advanced engineering plastic. Ryton or Techtron is available in unfilled (Techtron PPS), 40% glass-reinforced (Ryton R4), bearing-grade (BG1326), and high-PV (Techtron HPV). These various grades of the PPS resin allow the design engineer the ability to meet many goals including; chemical resistance, high temperature stability, zero moisture absorption, excellent dimensional stability, ultra-low wear factors, and structural strength. Polyphenelyne Sulfide materials offer low flammability ratings of V-O/5VA. Ryton and Techtron PPS components are commonly used in HPLC components, chemical pumps, semi conductor wafer CMP clamp rings, and theme-park coaster wheel bushings. Please see the Chemical Resistant Materials Page and the PEEK Variants Materials Page for technical specifications on all grades of readily available Ryton, or request your own personal copy of AIP's Material Specifications Brochure.

AIP specializes in industrial plastics including DELRIN®, Ultem, Nylatron, Plastic Composites such as Orkot, CIP, Tenmat, ACM, Luytex, PEEK, Fluorosint, Radel R, Vespel, Ryton® PPS, Celazole, Ertalyte, Kynar and Torlon.
